A Saturday wedding doesn’t have to break the bank—it's actually cheaper than you may think!

Tired of touring “conveyor-belt” wedding venues that host weddings day after day, rushing couples in and out? that's not our vibe & why we do things differently.

Choosing the right venue is a big decision - we hope we can make that choice a little easier.

At Antrobus House, we believe time is one of the greatest gifts. We only host a limited number of weddings each year (exclusively on Saturdays), and every couple enjoys full access to the venue from Friday at 12 noon right through to Sunday at 11am—so you can truly relax and savour every moment.

As a not-for-profit Charitable Trust, we’re able to keep our prices genuinely competitive. We’re not here to make huge profits—just to offer something special. Exclusive-use Saturday hire starts from just £3,395 (including VAT). Pretty amazing, right?

All the prices listed below include VAT.

To secure your date, we require a non-refundable deposit of £1,000, which can be split into two payments of £500 each—one when you book, and the second within three months of booking. The remaining balance can then be paid in three equal instalments: 12 months before, 6 months before and 3 months before your big day.

Prefer to spread the cost? No problem—we also offer monthly payment plans to help make things even more manageable.

If you are booking within 12 months of your wedding date, we will work with you to create a payment schedule that fits your timeline.

Payments can be made by debit or credit card, bank transfer, or cheque.

the edmund experience

reception only

  • access from Friday-Sunday
  • exclusive use of the Edmund Hall from 11am-midnight on your wedding day (earlier access can be arranged, if required)
  • access the day before (4 hours) to style the house for your wedding (12-4pm)
  • access the morning after (2 hours) to collect your decorations (9-11am)
  • exclusive use of the Antrobus House grounds and garden furniture
  • exclusive use of the Edmund Terrace, up to 10pm
  • tables and banqueting chairs for up to 100 guests
  • room set-up and clear-up (furniture/cleaning)
  • up to 8 x white linen tablecloths (more can be hired)
  • fully stocked licensed bar and bar staff
  • all glassware (arrival drinks, wedding breakfast, table wine, toast, evening reception)
  • use of our industrial kitchen for caterers (including our gas oven, hob and fridge)

the verey experience

ceremony only

  • exclusive use of the Edmund Hall for up to 5 hours on your wedding day for your ceremony. We are fully licensed for legal ceremonies, or you may choose to have a non-legal celebrant-led ceremony. The 5-hour hire period allows for setting up, guest arrival, your ceremony and post-ceremony drinks and photos.

  • exclusive use of the Antrobus House grounds and garden furniture

  • exclusive use of the Edmund Terrace

  • ceremony chairs for up to 100 guests

  • room set-up and clear-up (furniture/cleaning)

  • 2 x white linen tablecloths (one for the registrar, one for drinks)

  • the opportunity to enjoy a short drinks reception on site, after the ceremony

  • glassware for your drinks reception
