celebrating 100 years (1925-2025)

We chose Antrobus House as our wedding venue and we are so glad we did! It's absolutely gorgeous and has such an interesting and special history. On the top of that the staff are so friendly and helpful. We felt so lucky to be able to be married here at this wonderful place! Just beautiful.

We had our wedding at Antrobus House last June and it was amazing! The grounds are beautiful and really added that finishing touch to our pictures! Catherine did a great job organising our day for us and it was really handy to know she was there all day and night with us if we needed her! Having such a big garden out the front was also such a great hit! Plenty of room for our games and bouncy castle for the kids.

The house and gardens are stunning and it is clear to see how much the staff all care about Antrobus House and its customers. From the first time we made contact, Catherine was so helpful, answering all of our (many) questions and being a professional through and through.  She also recommended some of our other suppliers. She was so accommodating and it was clear how important it was to her that we had the wedding we dreamed of. The whole planning process was an absolute breeze because of her! We would thoroughly recommend booking your wedding here - you won’t find a more beautiful venue or better staff!

Antrobus House was recommended to us by our caterer when he heard that we were struggling to find a venue that was well kept and affordable. We got in touch with Catherine, the Manager.  She showed us around the venue and was very warm and engaging. The building and grounds are lovely, clean and well kept, but the cherry on top is the brilliant and kind Catherine.

We trusted her experience and decided to book the venue for our wedding reception. All communication was promptly responded to throughout the nearly 18 months it took us with wedding planning (pandemic causing havoc) and Catherine supported us through our wedding plans A, B and C!

On the day we had the most fab time, the venue was decorated so beautifully, everything ran like clock work and all our guests had the most amazing day!

We held our wedding at Antrobus House and I couldn’t have wished for a better day. Antrobus House is a hidden gem and I would highly recommend planning your wedding or special event here. We held our wedding at the house in April 2022 and our experience was second to none. Nothing is ever too much for the staff and Trustees at Antrobus House, every little detail in the lead up to our day was thought of and made the day run smoothly and look fantastic!

Catherine is phenomenal. No question is ever too small and from day one made us feel comfortable, making it all come together with absolutely no worries at all. We couldn’t have wished for a better service and our day wouldn’t of been the same without Catherine.

Not only is Antrobus House a beautiful venue with a stunning ceremony room and amazing lawn, but the manager, Catherine, is simply incredible.

Catherine helped us organise our wedding in 8 weeks, assisting us with pretty much everything! When the Covid rules changed and weddings opened up but not fully, Catherine worked with us to ensure we could host a perfect wedding for 30 day guests and 75 evening guests whilst keeping everyone safe.

I would hugely recommend this venue. It is amazing value for money, and with Catherine's help you will have nothing to worry about in making sure you have the perfect wedding day.
